About Claudia:
Claudia Vader is a dynamic visual storyteller with a rich background in media, culture, and communication. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Amsterdam. Specializing in journalism, film, and media psychology, she co-produced a short documentary named “Room for Purpose,” which won the Off Screen Film Festival in 2017 and was a part of the art direction of “Penoza: The Final Chapter (2019),” winner of both the Platin and Golden Film Awards in 2019.
Her first photography series, “The Long Way Home,” debuted in 2018, accompanied by a collection of short stories. This series served as a love letter to serendipity and curiosity. Claudia’s work as a photographer and visual creative spans an array of projects and exhibitions. Notably, her documentary photography has been showcased at Miami Art Week, the Satellite Art Show, and the RAM Gallery in Brooklyn, NYC. Her visual storytelling often explores themes of nature and society, such as her project on humpback whales returning to New York City's harbor and her examination of capitalist structures through gaming halls.
At present, Claudia travels across the world to capture the stories of people from various cultures. Her projects highlight the interconnectedness of communities and environments, capturing the shared experiences that bind individuals together. Through her work, Claudia aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse narratives that shape our world, encouraging viewers to see the beauty in both the ordinary and the extraordinary aspects of life.
